Terms of Use

1. The service

Kundali Darpan calculates birth charts, dashas, Panchang, festival dates, compatibility and related readings from the date, time and place you enter, using astronomical calculations and traditional astrological rules. The service is free to use. You need an account to use it; keep your sign-in details private, and you may delete your account at any time from Manage account.

2. For reflection and cultural practice only

Astrology is a traditional and cultural practice. Readings, predictions, remedies and dates are offered for reflection and guidance only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment or marital advice, and must not replace advice from qualified professionals. Do not stop or delay medical treatment, or make financial, legal or relationship decisions, on the basis of these readings.

3. Accuracy

Calculations depend on the details you enter and on the methods chosen in the settings (for example the ayanamsa). Festival and muhurat dates follow classical rules; local almanacs and traditions may differ by a day. Translations other than English and Hindi are being reviewed and may contain errors. Results are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.

4. Your responsibilities

Enter only details you are entitled to use — your own, or those of people who have agreed. Keep exported files and backups safe. Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or copy it for commercial redistribution.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the service or its readings.

6. Privacy

How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the current version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
